Small Screen Media Images Update
Hey All,
At the time of writing I have shot and edited all three of my small screen media films. I will upload then to the internet at a later date. Here is a collection of still frames from the final edits and promotional material for each. (I will upload more information about my narrative and sequence videos once this project is completed and handed in about the 8th of June)
LOGIC:
This image is of outside his head, the guy iis strapped to the TV via a colunder on his head. This image was filmed on my digital camera. It was filmed in my garage at home in cirencester and the bright light and colours were produced by two builders lights. I used a different actor for this scene so as to not confuse to audience.
This Image serves as a poster for the film, I have deliberately distorted it so as to not give away anything too easily. This is the also final image of the film.
MORNING MOOD:
This image was filmed on my digital camera, I used an image of graffiti found under a bridge near my home and a long shot out of a car window, even though the only part of the second image is the blue bin in this shot.
Because my small camera struggled with the bright light conditions most of my foootage had a strange, almost vintage, purple tint to it. Which happened purely by luck but I love. This image was the corner of a subway with cars passing.
This image will act as promotional material for the film, it doed not give too much away and therefore will attract an audience. The text is distorted and adds to the disrupted feel. By using an image underneath that is hard to make-out is similar in the final film, a layered chaotic feel.
APPLECAT:
This image is of one of my favourite shots in the video, mainly because even though I animated the splats very randomly it looked very effective. The image of the book was filmed on my digital camera and the animation was done on MonkeyJam.
This image is of Applecat delivering a pie to someone's doorstep. I added an old paper image overlayed on the film to give it a vintage/ traditional look.
This imgae will act as a promotional Image for the film. The image was created to answer the question 'What If Applecat Was Real?' and then I chose to use it as a poster. It will attract an audience because of its strange and randomness. I have a copy displayed in the edit suite at Uni and many prospective students have reacted positively to it- wanting to see the film.
I hope that has been informative, I am very happy with my final pieces.
Rob
